Hi, I will start by saying that you may or may not be able to assist me. My name is Barb and I will be buying a home in wright county Minnesota (Otsego). I have heard that there are grants available to single woman and also grants provided to anyone who purchases a home in rural MN. Does Otsego qualify as rural? I am also wondering if you know of Government grants for single woman in MN. That are buying on their own. I am recently divorced, mother of four. I was on the mortgage with my ex-husband so I do not think I qualify for the 1st time homeowner program.

Can you help? Will you direct me to another web site that might have information for me.

    Thanks for your time,

    BarbbARB
